Day 3

A long day with many great activities! After a one hour town rallye in multinational groups, we took off for the riding school again. From there we went on a two - hour hiking trip with all students all teachers and all horses. Everybody had a go on horse-back...even the teachers!

At moontime we were served the classical "steack-frites" near the bridge "Pont de la Souleuvre". Gamze, the turkish teacher, was a bit sad the bungee jumping was closed that day....The students ad a lots of fun on the sledge trucks.

Late in the afternoon, we were welcomed warmly by Monsieur le Maire Marc Andreu Sabater at the town hall. He made a quiet long speech about French and European history because this a special week in Normandy: people celebrate the 70th anniversary of D.day! Finally all teams took photos together with Mr Andreu Sabater. The day ended with a nice restaurant meal for the teachers and a visit at Mac Donald's or a family evening for the students.
